Most people find it difficult to stick to the Atkins Method of weight loss because carbohydrates are so darn tempting and sweets have such as pull in our society. Going out to eat with family and friends can really derail your Atkins diet.

The Atkins Method of losing weight is not recommended for children or for teens because they are still growing. Individuals who suffer from any kind of kidney or liver problems should not use the Atkins Method. The Atkins method can also leave individuals at greater risk for cancer and heart disease because of the decrease in fruits and vegetables that is a part of the Atkins Method.
